On the occasion of a lecture, Stefan Heid visited the publishing house Schnell & Steiner. of the family Weiland in Regensburg. Impressive is not only the large number of excellent publications far beyond the narrower field of art history, but also the concrete publishing work and the shipping logistics. The Centro Italiano di Studi sull'Altomedioevo in Spoleto is organising a major congress on the Franks, which will also be broadcast online. The spectrum of lectures ranges from the origins of the Franks to imperial history, law, language and art. With regard to Christianity, the baptism of Clovis, relationship with the popes, rural local churches and the social and political importance of the monasteries are dealt with.
Stefan Heid will give a lecture on "Proclaim the Gospel: Strategies of the Early Church to liberate the earth from the demons", as part of the Dahlem Forum Bernhardinum.
