The Institute

Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.
Donations And Foundation

As expected, the newsletter for the second half of 2023, edited by Secretary General Dr Martin Barth, focuses on the autumn General Assembly in Tübingen. Importantly, the Görres Society has decided to establish a foundation. The RIGG already has its own "Foundation for the Promotion of the Roman Institute of the Görres Society".

With regard to the RIGG, the publication on the "Hero of Campo Santo" is mentioned.

In addition to the General Assembly, numerous initiatives and collaborations are presented that demonstrate the Society's lively and wide-ranging activities. These include in particular the webinars, academic colloquia and the Young Forum.
