The Munich group of Görres will meet on 4 July at 6.30 p.m. in KHG Leopoldstr. 11. Dr Fabian Huber will speak on the topic "How the Barock came to Bavaria. The Theatinerkirche in Munich as a prelude to a new art and piety". Afterwards there is a meeting in a pub.
On 24 June, the former scholarship holder at the Roman Institute of the Görres Society Christopher Helbig will be ordained a priest in the Bamberg Cathedral. Helbig supervised the Joseph Ratzinger / Benedict XVI Study Library at Campo Santo Teutonico from 2017 to 2019 with a scholarship from the Vatican Ratzinger Foundation.
Dr Ignacio García Lascurain Bernstorff will give a lecture on "A College for Priests in the Sign of Historicism: the Medieval Reception at Campo Santo Teutonico 1876-1893" on 20 June at 4-6pm.

On 26 June, professors and staff of the Pontifical Institute for Christian Archaeology will fly to Burg Reichenstein near Mainz. It is a private tour in the footsteps of the history of the Institute, which celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2025.
On 13 June, the President of the University of Augsburg, Professor Dr Sabine Doering-Manteuffel, appointed Dr Rainald Becker (Munich) as University Professor in the Chair of European Regional History and Bavarian and Swabian Regional History. He succeeds Prof. Dr Marita Krauss.
Ingolstadt is a beautiful city with important churches and cultural sites. Since 1972 it has also been home to the Bavarian Army Museum, which moved from Munich to the New Palace in Ingolstadt. This huge building complex now also houses the First World War Museum.

The General Assembly from 22 to 24 September in Tübingen will again offer a rich programme under the guiding theme of "Freedom". Speakers include Boris Palmer and Paul Kirchhof. Other highlights: The History Section will speak about the threat to academic freedom, the Law and Political Science Section will talk about migration and citizenship, the Political Science Section about paternalism and the like. Andreas Holzem will lecture on the Thirty Years' War in the Corpus Catholicorum.

1-3 August 2023 in Cologne: Internationaler Priesterkreis, about "evangelisation"
28-30 August 2023 Sommerakademie in Aigen im Mühlkreis (Austria) about "sacramentals" (with three speakers from Rome: Michael Kahle, Markus Graulich, Ralph Weimann).
The Museum of the Cathedral of Hildesheim offers a series of events during the Day of World Heritage.
