The new newsletter of the Görres Society, published by the office in Bonn, informs about the most important events from the first half of 2022 and about plans for the second half of the year. The RIGG is represented several times, once in the article about the study trip of the Young Forum to Rome, further about the new departmental structure, finally with the announcement of a Görres webinar on the history of the Roman Institute on 13 December.

A conference on "Hubert Jedin (1900-1980): Storico del Concilio, cittadino di Trento" will be held in Trento on 13-14 October. Stefan Heid will speak about Jedin and his relationship to the Campo Santo Teutonico. Jedin remained closely connected to the German College of Priests from 1926 until his death. He experienced and knew six rectors, up to Erwin Gatz (+ 2011), who was even a student of Jedin's, insofar as he had attended his church history seminars in Bonn.

Outstanding addresses and speeches were given by Achim Buckenmaier, Christian Schaller, Nuncio Eterovic, Georg Gänswein and Marianne Schlosser (keynote speech), while Gudrun Sailer led through the programme. Thus three members of the RIGG alone were involved. The festive celebration can now be seen on KathTube.
