Paul Maria Baumgarten, who lived for a long time at the priests' college of Campo Santo Teutonico, wrote the biography of the important Christian archaeologist Giovanni Battista de Rossi (1822-1894) in 1892 for his 70th birthday. But he did not publish many episodes from de Rossi's life for certain reasons. This is what the lecture is about: "Anékdota aus Baumgartens Biographie des Archäologen Giovanni Battista de Rossi".

The Görres lecture given by Prof. Dr Dieter J. Weiß (Bavarian Regional History, LMU Munich) on 26 March as part of the "Commemoration without Borders" conference at Campo Santo Teutonico is now available on YouTube. The lecture is vivid and informative about the city of Bamberg - the German Rome between Emperor and Pope.

Father Norbert Hofmann SDB, active at the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, will speak on the topic: "The international Jewish-Catholic dialogue. Historical developments, current opportunities and challenges". The Young Forum of the Görres Society will be present in Rome. The lecture will also be broadcast as the 10th webinar of the Görres Society.

From 25 to 30 March, the office of the Görres Society is organising a study trip of the Young Forum to Rome. The trip will be organised by Dr. Marth Barth and Prof. Dr. Britta Kägler (scientific director) in coordination with the RIGG. Under the motto "Rome in Dialogue", the programme includes cultural and Vatican visits and talks, of course also at the Campo Santo Teutonico.
