7. Juli: Inaugural lecture of Britta Kägler in Passau
Dr. Britta Kägler, Professor of Bavarian Regional History and European Regional History, will give her inaugural lecture at the University of Passau - delayed by Corona - on the topic of "Rethinking Education Bavaria's Education Offensive and the Founding of the University of Passau in the Educational Policy Context of the 1960s and 1970s". The lecture fits in with the 400th anniversary of the University.

Prof. Kägler worked at the DHI in Rome, then was professor of early modern studies in Trondheim for three years, moved to Passau in 2020 and is involved in the Görres Society and the Lesser Foundation, among others. She is on the academic advisory board of the Historisches Jahrbuch and the Römische Quartalschrift. Recently, she took over the academic supervision of the Young Forum's Rome trip.
