The Institute

Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.
Donations And Foundation

The RIGG has a one-year cooperation agreement with the University of Hildesheim starting in June 2025, which relates to the conference organised by Prof. Dr. Dr. Jörg Bölling entitled ‘Popes and Vestments from Julius II to Benedict XVI – Textiles, Texts and Contexts from Six Centuries’ in November 2025.
