The Institute
The Institute

Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.
Donations And Foundation

The RIGG maintains close contacts with the Pontifical Committee for Historical Studies under its president Fr Bernard Ardura OPraem. The Committee sponsors conferences of the RIGG and is the patron of the conference "The Book of the Popes: the Liber Pontificalis - a Key Document of European History" in November 2018.
