Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.
Donations And Foundation

To mark the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis, a conference will be held in Rome (Hungarian Academy, Istituto Storico Italiano per il Medioevo) and in Capestrano in Abruzzo (Castello Piccolomini) from 10 to 12 November, a conference will be held on hagiographical, liturgical and devotional aspects of Franciscanism in the Kingdom of Hungary from the High to the Late Middle Ages.
