10-11 June: Antiquity and Christianity in Bonn
The final, 272nd volume of the *Reallexikon für Antike und Christentum* is scheduled to be published later this year. This marks the completion of this work, whose origins date back to the period before World War II. For decades, it has been a hallmark of the University of Bonn and the Westphalian Academy of Sciences.
To mark the occasion, a conference is being held featuring, among others, Christian Hornung, Therese Fuhrer, Hartmut Leppin, Andreas Merkt, and Sible de Blaauw. The focus is on looking back, rather than on the future of the Franz Joseph Dölger Institute, founded by Theodor Klauser, whose primary task to date has been the editing of the RAC.
The encyclopedia is now also available online.
