Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.
Donations And Foundation

A few months ago, Dr Thomas Kieslinger published the extraordinarily successful audiobook of Anton de Waal's historical novel about the end of the Papal States in 1870. The novel is entitled ‘The 20th of September’.

Now there is the first episode of a series of podcasts on the same topic. In the first podcast, Thomas Kieslinger talks to Ulrich Nersinger about the book ‘Der 20. September. A Narrative of the Siege and Conquest of Rome 1870, Regensburg/Rome/New York 1901’ by Anton de Waal:
