Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.
Donations And Foundation

My name is Elias A. Krexner OSB and I am a monk of the Benedictine Abbey of Seitenstetten in Lower Austria. Before joining, I completed my law studies at the Faculty of Law at the University of Vienna. After my novitiate, my theological studies took me back to the University of Vienna for three years.

During this time, I also completed a Master's degree in Canon Law at the University of Vienna. My master's thesis was published in August 2023 in the "Kanonistische Reihe" by EOS-Verlag. I have now been in the Eternal City for a semester, where I am studying for a licentiate in canon law at the Gregorian University after completing my theology degree at the Pontificio Ataneo Sant' Anselmo.
