Frank Gebhard Zander, a member of the Archconfraternity, died on 10 January at the age of 90. He will be laid to rest in the Campo Santo Teutonico, next to his wife, who died in 2000, right next to the church entrance.

The horse lover, who lived in a small estate with a "knight's hall" in Poggio Cinolfo in Abruzzo, had been a member of the Görres Society since 25 February 1985 - 38 years ago. Until a few years ago, Dott. Zander took part in almost all events organised by the Archconfraternity and the Görres Institute while he was still able to drive. He was a pleasant conversationalist, full of wisdom and benevolence and, of course, with a great deal of knowledge about the "German colony" in Rome.
