The Institute
The Institute

Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.
Donations And Foundation

Daniel Zucker first studied philosophy here in Rome at the Dominican University (Angelicum) and then dedicated himself to the study of theology at the Faculty of Theology of the Leopold Franzens University in Innsbruck. He is currently doing the novitiate for the Central Italian Province of the Dominicans in Naples and will begin his licentiate in Ecumenical Theology at the Angelicum the following year.

Daniel Zucker is distantly related to Mons. Dr. Stephan Ehses from Zeltingen an der Mosel, who was director of the Roman Institute of the Görres Society in 1891-1893 and 1895-1926, and has already dedicated some bottles of "Zeltinger" (formerly from Ehses' production) to the RIGG.
