Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.

Stefan Heid's lecture of 28 May on the "Anécdota from Paul Maria Baumgarten's biography of the Christian archaeologist Giovanni Battista de Rossi (1822-1894)" is now available on the RIGG YouTube channel (part one). The complete contribution will be published this year in the volume "Il secolo di Giovanni Battista de Rossi (1822-1894): La cultura archeologica dall’Italia all’Europa".
