Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.
Donations And Foundation

The Geschichtsverein Rottenburg-Stuttgart knows how to formulate titles. The next conference in Weingarten Monastery from 14 to 16 March 2025 will focus on "Change of conviction in historical perspective".

The topic is as surprising as it is exciting. Taking conversion out of the usual cliché of pious overpowering and changing the perspective promises new insights and entertaining lectures. In the lectures, which range from the Middle Ages to the present day, keywords such as "persuading and convincing", "betrayal", "corruption", "breach of faith", "heretic", "conviction", "disillusionment", "apostasy" and "change of conviction" are used.
