Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.
Donations And Foundation

A German-Italian conference at Villa Vigoni from 20 to 22 November will deal with ‘Interconfessional coexistence in social change: The Holy See and relations between Catholics and Protestants in the Federal Republic of Germany (1949-1958)’.

The conference is organised by Alessandro Bellino (Würzburg) and Francesco Tacchi (Venice). Other speakers include Paolo Valvo, Florian Geidner, Florian Bock, Dominik Burkard, Claus Arnold and Joachim Bürkle.
