The Institute

Founded in 1888, the Roman Institute of the Görres Society (RIGG) is the well-known academic centre and foreign institute of the Bonn-based Görres Society.
Donations And Foundation

Uwe Michael Lang from the London Oratory, a profound connoisseur of Roman liturgical history, since 2012 is the editor of the liturgical journal "Antiphon", which has been in existence for 25 years, since 2012. Since 2017, "Antiphon" has been distributed by the Catholic University of America Publishing House on behalf of the Society for Catholic Liturgy, which hosts an annual liturgical conference at Notre Dame University.

"Antiphon" is peer reviewed, published three times a year, and can be viewed on the Database MUSE (fee required). The journal consistently offers excellent, readable articles on the whole history of liturgy. It gives the reader a wide view into the exceedingly learned world of English-speaking friends of the liturgy.
